As the Director of Grant Programs at Main Street America, David leads the team driving the organization’s grantmaking efforts to re-energize and strengthen downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts. He oversees strategy, operations, and growth, partnering with funders to advance impactful, community-driven solutions.
David’s work has focused on aligning philanthropy with place-based, community-led interventions. He spent several years leading partnerships at ioby, connecting neighborhood leaders with the resources they needed to make their communities stronger and more sustainable. Most recently, at DonorsChoose, he managed corporate and foundation partnerships that delivered critical resources directly to public school classrooms in historically underserved areas.
David holds a BA in Political Science and Public Policy from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter College, and a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute.
